Dominion Eye Care in Prince William and Fauquier County is dedicated to helping patients with the diagnosis and treatment for their specific eye conditions. Our Manassas office is convenient to patients in Manassas, Gainesville, Haymarket, Bristow, Nokesville, Bull Run, Bull Run Mountain Estates, Woodbridge, Cherry Hill, Dale City, Dumfries, Independent Hill, Lake Ridge, Linton Hall, Loch Lomond, Marumsco and Montclair, and as far north as Fairfax County and Northern VA. We also have an office in Fauquier County and treat patients in Warrenton, Bealeton, Catlett, Marshall, Midland, New Baltimore, Opal and Remington, VA and as far south as Culpeper and Madison, VA and as far west as Middleburg, VA, Leesburg, VA and Loudoun County, VA.
Manassas, VA and Warrenton, VA Office Hours
We are currently accepting new patients for eye appointments in Warrenton and Manassas VA. Our hours of operation are as follows:
Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM– 5:00 PM
Closed 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM for Lunch
Of course, there is always a physician available to meet your emergency medical eye needs.
Preparing for Your Eye Appointment in Prince William and Fauquier, VA
Your eye appointment may take up to 2 hours. If we dilate your pupils, your eyes may be blurry and light sensitive for 2-4 hours afterwards. You may wish to bring your sunglasses or use those we provide. Your prescription refills are important to us. Please be sure to verify at the time of service any need for refills of your eye medications.
Eye Appointment Registration in Manassas and Warrenton, VA
When you visit our offices in Prince William or Fauquier, please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your appointment time in order to complete the required paperwork. You will also need to bring your photo ID and insurance card(s). You can also conveniently complete a majority of your registration paperwork online via your patient portal. When you register for your new patient appointment, you will receive an email with a portal link. Paperwork can be completed there to minimize your paperwork and wait time in the office.
Insurance Requirements for Ophthalmology Services
We participate with a wide variety of medical insurance plans. Please bring your insurance card(s) with you so we can verify that we have the correct information to bill your insurance company. You will be asked to pay for all non-covered services at the time of the visit. We do not participate with any vision plans, nor any of the Affordable Care Act plans or Medicaid.
Patients with co-pay requirements must pay at the time of their visit. We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, debit cards and personal checks. If your personal check is returned, you will be charged $55. Patients needing refraction (assessment of visual acuity and measurement for glasses) will be charged $55.00, collected at the time of service. This includes Medicare patients.
We no longer participate with AETNA products for routine vision exams. We do accept Aetna PPO plans for medical needs. Effective January 1, 2024, Dominion Eye Care is no longer contracted with UHC or any of UHC’s products. If your plan provides you with out-of-network benefits, we’d be happy to see you. We will offer 20% discount for our patients that are uninsured provided they pay in full for their services at the time of their visit.

Referrals
If your insurance carrier requires you to have a referral, you must bring a copy with you. You may also have your Primary Care Physician fax the referral to our office prior to your visit. Without the referral, you will be asked to reschedule your appointment or pay for the visit in full at that time.
Medical History and Eye Care History in VA
Please bring your eyeglasses and/or contact lens information to your appointment as well as a list of all medications that you are currently taking.
Cancellation and Rescheduling Your Eye Appointment
Please call our office if you need to cancel or reschedule your eye appointment. We would appreciate 24-48 hours advance notice for any appointment changes. A $65.00 fee will be charged for a late cancellation/missed appointment.
