Dr. Egge is a Virginia board-certified ophthalmologist who practiced in Northern Virginia since 1985. He recently retired from his offices in Manassas, Warrenton, and Haymarket Surgery Center in Virginia and operating privileges at Prince William Hospital and Prince William Surgery Center in Prince William County, VA and Fauquier Hospital in Fauquier County, VA. He performed more than 12,000 surgeries to correct cataracts, glaucoma and strabismus. He consistently demonstrated his commitment to quality by remaining on the leading edge of technological advancements to provide the best possible care to all of his patients.
Washingtonian Magazine and Northern Virginia Magazine have recognized Dr. Egge as one of the area’s top Virginia doctors in the field of ophthalmology. This honor is especially noteworthy since doctors are chosen by fellow physicians for this recognition.
Dr. Egge has four children and lives in the area with his wife. He enjoys golfing, painting and working in the garden.
